About the album[]
This is a collection of interviews featuring Andy Taylor, compiled from 1985 to 1996. The recordings cover subjects including "A View To A Kill" with Duran Duran, the Power Station (85 and 96), plus Taylor's solo period in the 1980s.
The album begins with Taylor on the telephone from the Beverley Hills Hotel to Z100 NYC Radio, which is followed by an interview in San Francisco at the premier of the Bond film A View To A Kill.
Taylor wrote on andy taylor music.com that "Significantly, each of these interviews are at a point where there is conflict, problems or leaving members, it wasn't always me… There's the 85' departure of Robert Palmer weeks before the US tour. JT muses over the detachment of the two Duran Duran camps on KMEL in 1985, in the 1996 interviews, when it was now JT's turn to be elsewhere and these were aired shortly after Bernard Edwards sudden death."
The artwork is from Family Guy: It's a Trap!, which features the Power Station's "Some Like It Hot".
