About the episode[]
The episode is from a situation comedy series inspired by the teenage experiences of comedian Chris Rock (who is also the narrator), while growing up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.
The plot involves Chris quiting his job at Doc's store and getting another job at a Chinese restaurant called Hoo's Hunan, because he isn't getting paid the minimum wage. Rochelle becomes a hair model for an upcoming hair show. Meanwhile, Julius visits Drew's school in order to find out why he's failing history tests and Greg tries to find the courage to talk to a girl.
