Duran Duran: Their Story is a 32-page book originally published by Proteus in December 1982.
About the book[]
The book is an official biography of Duran Duran which contains personal histories of the five original band members, with a discography and early photos. There is also information on early band videos as well as behind the scenes with Duran Duran in the early 1980s. Duran Duran: Their Story was written by Malcolm Garrett and Kasper de Graaf, who later published the Duran Duran Unseen in 2005.
It's been written that the first major show performed by Duran Duran was on 5 July 1980 at the Edinburgh Summer Festival in Scotland, but in the book John Taylor reports that the band never appeared at the festival.
