Duran Duran's 14th Studio Album is slated for release by Warner Bros. Records in September 2015.
About the album[]
Duran Duran signed a new deal with Warner Bros. Records for their 14th studio album, which was recorded in London, UK.
The follow-up to 2010's All You Need Is Now features contributions from Janelle Monáe, ex-Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante and Kiesza, while Nile Rodgers, Mark Ronson and Mr Hudson all appear in the production credits.
It was previously reported that Lindsay Lohan looked set to appear on the album, after she was pictured in a London studio with the group.
Lohan posted a photo of herself and her sister with the band members on Instagram, writing "Recording with some greats!!!" She is believed to have spent almost seven hours in the studio to perfect her contribution. Lohan was Simon Le Bon's standby artist for the Duran Duran on Broadway shows in 2007.
During February 2014, Duran Duran recorded 3 songs in a church with the Voce Chamber Choir and the London Youth Chamber Choir, led by their Musical Director Suzi Digby OBE. These tracks are slow anthems originally planned for release on the band's 14th studio album. The session took place at St. Gabriel’s Church in Pimlico.
The first single released from the album will be "Pressure Off", featuring singer-songwriter Janelle Monáe.
