Demo 1986-91 is an unofficial compilation album, featuring a collection of Duran Duran demo recordings.

About the album

The recordings included on this compilation were made during demo sessions for the albums Notorious (1986), Big Thing (1988), Liberty (1990), The Wedding Album (1993) and Thank You (1995).

The collection includes a cover version of Sly & the Family Stone's "I Wanna Take You Higher", recorded during Thank You sessions and later performed by the band on The Astronaut Tour. Also featured are several unreleased songs such as "In Between Woman" and "Dream Nation"
