About the DVD[]
The DVD is a behind the scenes look at the making of Duran Duran's 1982 album Rio through interviews, musical demonstrations and archive footage not included in the broadcast version.
Original band members Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor are all interviewed along with director Russell Mulcahy, former manager Paul Berrow, designer Antony Price and Live Aid founder Bob Geldof. The recording also includes Journalist Beverley Glick breaking down the writing and recording process song-by-song, plus live footage of Duran Duran in Boston during 2008.
The DVD was taken from the TV series Classic Albums made by Isis Productions, which has been shown on various broadcasters including BBC, ITV, Sky Arts, VH-1 and VH-1 Classic.
