The album is a collection of songs by various artists, which was an exclusive release only available at Starbucks coffee shops in Japan.
The compilation includes "Save A Prayer performed by Simon Le Bon and Silvio Anastacio, a recording which was originally released on the SYN Productions Japanese White Day celebration album From The Heart in 2002.
Cafe Bossa also includes "One Note Samba" / "Mas Que Nada", performed by Coldfeet and SYN Productions founder Nick Wood.
