Budokan is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Sing Blue Silver Tour at the Budokan in Tokyo, Japan on 25 January 1984.

About the album[]

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Budokan, a 20,000 capacity venue located in Kitanomaru Park, Tokyo. This was the last of seven shows performed in Japan on the tour.

After the 5th night at Wembley on 23 December 1983, Duran Duran took a break with their families and continued the tour in Japan on 17 January 1984 in Sendai.

On tour in support of their third studio album, Seven and the Ragged Tiger, "The Reflex" was the first of six songs taken from the album during the evening.

The bootleg features "The Chauffeur" performed with an instrumental ending. The final tracks on the CD, "Friends of Mine" and "Girls on Film" fade out prematurely.

The Japanese tour poster incorporates the Seven and the Ragged Tiger artwork, which includes photography by Rebecca Blake.
