British Invasion '85 is a promotional-only 12" vinyl compilation album featuring Duran Duran, released in Japan by Virgin / EMI / Chrysalis during 1985.
About the album[]
The album is a DJ product only and contains a collection of songs by various UK acts.
The compilation features Duran Duran's "A View To A Kill", a single released in Japan with a slightly different sleeve designed by Assorted iMaGes and included a Japanese lyric sheet (see EMS-17546).
Simple Minds are also included, a band that featured drummer Mel Gaynor. He later performed with John Adams as a support act on Duran Duran's Strange Behaviour Tour in 1987.
