Boston 6-3-95 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Radio Station Festival Tour at the KISS 108 16th anniversary concert, Great Woods Performing Arts Center in Mansfield, MA, USA on 3 June 1995.

About the album[]

The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Great Woods Performing Arts Center, a 19,900 capacity amphitheatre located 30 miles south of Boston in Mansfield. This was the only show performed in the state of Massachusetts on the tour.

The event was organised by Boston based radio station Kiss 108, and featured other artists including Paula Abdul and All-4-One.

With many in the crowd watching from a lawned area at the venue, Duran Duran opened the show with their first US hit single "Hungry Like the Wolf". The band then showcased the unreleased "P.L. You", a track recorded during demo sessions for Medazzaland but not included on the album.

During the show, Welsh drummer played "Girls on Film" with a mix of Kraftwerk's "The Model". Duran Duran would later cover "The Model" on Broadway in 2007.

The album is incomplete, missing cover versions of David Bowie's "Rebel Rebel" and Iggy Pop's "Success" from the setlist.

The concert poster includes Duran Duran photography by Ellen von Unwerth.
