Austin Music Hall: Dec 11th 2007 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Red Carpet Massacre Tour at the Austin Music Hall, in Austin, TX, USA on 11 December 2007.

About the album[]

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Austin Music Hall, a 4,400 capacity venue located at 208 Nueces Street in Austin. This was the first of three shows in Texas on the tour.

The newly renovated Austin Music Hall was filled to its 4,400 capacity for this Tuesday show. Now minus original guitarist Andy Taylor and touring behind their 12th studio album Red Carpet Massacre, Duran Duran opened the show with "The Valley". This was the first of six new songs performed during the evening from the Red Carpet Massacre album, released the previous month.

The audience soon ignited when the band launched into hits including "Planet Earth", "Rio" and "The Wild Boys".

The evening finished with an encore of "Girls on Film", featuring band introductions.

Tickets for the event cost around $45.00.
