Astronaut Demos is an unofficial Duran Duran 13-track compilation album.

About the album[]

The album is a collection demos recorded by the original five band members of Duran Duran, during recording sessions for the Astronaut album held in the South of France. During this period a teaser CD with short demo versions of a few of the unfinished songs (used to demonstrate the new work to potential labels and producers) was leaked to the Internet and quickly copied throughout the band's fan base. The songs were "Virus", "Sunrise", "TV vs. Radio", "Taste the Summer", "Salt in the Rainbow" and "Pretty Ones", which are all included on this album.

The compilation also features a demo version of "Beautiful Colours", a song performed by the band during The Reunion Tour and used by FIFA (The international governing body for football) as it's Centennial song.
