Astronaut: EPK is a Duran Duran promotional-only video, directed by Gavin Elder and released by Epic Records in 2004.
About the video[]
The EPK (Electronic Press Kit) is a short behind the scenes look at the making of Duran Duran's 11th studio album Astronaut. The video begins with a photo shoot for the album, with Romanian fashion photographer Kristian Schuller. Roger Taylor spoke about being back with band and that it felt very familiar, very quickly. Roger and other band members then talked about Andy Taylor's qualities and what he brought to Duran Duran.
There is also footage of Don Gilmore and Dallas Austin, co-producers of Astronaut. More footage of the Simon Le Bon interview is available on the Live At Wembley 2004 DVD.
