An Evening With Duran Duran: Jakarta 2008 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Red Carpet Massacre Tour at the Balai Sidang Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia on 8 April 2008.

About the album[]

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Balai Sidang Convention Center, a 10,000 capacity venue located in the most strategic area of the capital city. This was Duran Duran's first ever show in Indonesia.

Duran Duran took to the stage at 9:00pm, opening with "The Valley" from the Red Carpet Massacre album. "Planet Earth" soon followed, with the audience getting louder as each song was performed.

The show featured a different setlist from most other Red Carpet Massacre Tour dates, with no electro set performed mid-way.

"Come Undone" saw Dominic Brown performing the shimmering watery guitar chords written and recorded by Warren Cuccurullo, while Anna Ross added vocals to the song.

The audience sang along to "Save A Prayer", which was followed by several more Red Carpet Massacre tracks. The show finished at 11:00pm, after an encore of "The Wild Boys" and "Rio".
