Advertizing Music is an unofficial Duran Duran 15-track compilation album, released in 1999.
About the album[]
The album is a collection of Duran Duran promotional performances for the Greatest compilation. The CD begins with the two songs played at the New Years Eve, Edinburgh Castle show in 1998, when the band performed "Rio" before midnight and so "Electric Barbarella" was the first Duran Duran song played in the new year.
The radio recordings featured on the bootleg are all acoustic performances by Simon and Warren. Also included is a cover version of "Virginia Plain" used an an intro to "Rio" during The Greatest and Latest Tour.
