A View To A Kill: Remixes is an unofficial Duran Duran compilation album of "A View to a Kill" recordings, a James Bond theme which John Barry and Duran Duran were nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in 1986.
About the album[]
The compilation includes several demo versions, that are also available on various other unofficial albums such as Demo 1979-85 and Notorious Demos.
Also included is a cover version from The Bond Collection - The 30th Anniversary album performed by Shirley Bassey, a Welsh singer who found fame in the late 1950s and is best known for recording the James Bond theme songs "Goldfinger" (1964), "Diamonds Are Forever" (1971), and "Moonraker" (1979).
The album cover features Duran Duran photography by Ken Regan.
