A Private Jet at Wembley is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded at Wembley Stadium, London, UK during July 2007.

About the album[]

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's first ever performances at London's new Wembley Stadium, a 90,000 seat venue that opened in 2007 on the site of the original, built in 1923. Only Simon Le Bon had previously performed at Wembley Stadium, which was during Wham!'s final concert in 1986.

The first part of the album is Duran Duran's complete performance from Concert for Diana. The event was held on 1 July 2007 to honor Princess Diana, ten years after her death. The show was broadcast in 140 different countries.

Seven days after Concert for Diana, Duran Duran took to the stage once again at Wembley Stadium for Live Earth London, which is the second part of this album. The event was an effort to highlight global warming, which aired to a world wide audience of nearly 2 billion people.
