Featuring a collection of hit singles by various artists, 1982 with a Bullet was voted the best compilation album of all time by listeners of Hobart (Tasmania's) radio station in September 2009. The album spent 5 weeks at the top of the Australian album charts in 1982.
The compilation includes Duran Duran's "My Own Way", a song which reached no.10 on the Australian Singles Chart. Split Enz are also featured, a New Zealand band that performed at several 1982 US Duran Duran shows including at the Ontario Theatre on 24 June.
